As a Ph.D. Professional Engineer, our principal prepares and seals the civil and structural documents your project needs, then builds from them, so the intent never gets lost in translation.
We handle the unglamorous but critical work that keeps a project on schedule: parking and circulation layouts, utility routing, stormwater and drainage design, grading, and the permit-ready drawing sets that local reviewers expect. Because we also build, our plans are practical to construct, not just correct on paper.

"Energy conscious" is in our name because it belongs in the design, not bolted on at the end. We orient buildings to work with the sun, specify high-performance insulation and glazing, and build tight, durable envelopes that hold their conditioned air — so your systems run less and last longer.
Where it makes sense, we build with Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) for walls that are quiet, storm-resistant, and highly insulated in one system, and we design in readiness for geothermal, solar, and rainwater harvesting so future upgrades are simple.

Professional Training
Short courses in green building design
Beyond building, our principal is an engineering educator who teaches short professional courses in green and energy-conscious building design for engineers, architects, and contractors.
